Whitney A. Goodwin joined the Archaeometry Laboratory at MURR in 2019. Her research focuses on production, exchange, and consumption of ceramics primarily in Mesoamerica and Central America. She has research experience in Honduras, Guatemala, Belize, and various locations throughout North America.
Dr. Goodwin has an active research program in Honduras (read more here and here). Her research has been sponsored by the National Science Foundation, Fulbright, National Geographic Society, Rust Family Foundation, and the Philanthropic Educational Organization.
She is also co-editor of the recently released volume “Southeastern Mesoamerica: Indigenous Interaction, Resilience, and Change” from the University Press of Colorado.
